The nationally franchised home furnishings store Bed, Bath and Beyond will be the latest retailer to inhabit Quincy's East Broadway corridor.
In a news release issued late Thursday afternoon, the franchise will remodel the north 22,500 square foot portion of the current GameMasters location at 5100 Broadway. GameMasters in turn will remodel the 26,500 square foot area to the south. Each store will have its own entrance.
As part of the remodeling, GameMasters will expand its gun and athletic departments and add gunsmith services. GameMasters will discontinue its SmokeHouse restaurant.
GameMasters opened in October 2003 and will stay open throughout the remodeling process. Opening date for Bed, Bath and Beyond will take place sometime between the end of 2008 and the first quarter of 2009.
